How You4ia Health Was Born:

“I spent years trapped in the cycle of extreme diets, punishing workouts, and false promises… Chasing results that never lasted.

I restricted my calories to the extreme, only to binge on weekends, fueling guilt and shame.

Exercise became punishment, and my obsession with food consumed me.

I meticulously analysed ingredients, felt overwhelmed by every meal, and lost sight of food’s true purpose: connection.

The breaking point came when my now wife, Bec, grabbed a piece of cucumber from my pre-weighed portion when I was 18.

I panicked. That moment made me realise my obsession wasn’t just harming me… It was straining my relationships. Enough was enough.

Everything changed when I started working with my cricket coach, who was also a personal trainer.

Instead of chasing extremes, I focused on small, sustainable changes. As I saw real progress, I became addicted to the process, not just the outcome.

I ditched the fads and embraced what truly works, nourishing my body, training to feel strong, and building a system that supports real people, not unrealistic expectations.

This journey led me to create You4ia Health & Active Living.
