“I spent years trapped in the cycle of extreme diets, punishing workouts, and false promises… Chasing results that never lasted.
I restricted my calories to the extreme, only to binge on weekends, fueling guilt and shame.
Exercise became punishment, and my obsession with food consumed me.
I meticulously analysed ingredients, felt overwhelmed by every meal, and lost sight of food’s true purpose: connection.
The breaking point came when my now wife, Bec, grabbed a piece of cucumber from my pre-weighed portion when I was 18.
I panicked. That moment made me realise my obsession wasn’t just harming me… It was straining my relationships. Enough was enough.
Everything changed when I started working with my cricket coach, who was also a personal trainer.

I am a busy working mum with a strong background in pilates and yoga. I am a pilates devotee and had never done any weight training prior to joining with You4ia. I reached out to Matt from You4iaHealth almost 1 year ago as an 38yr old mum of 2 small kids, after battling constant exhaustion and a depletion in my mental health.
